The website's design was a mix of multiple old 2010s-era YouTube designs, but its primary design language seems to derive from the 2013 iteration of Hitchhiker.

On September 24th 2024, Flowerz sold the site to Kylarz, who created the YouClipped mascot, Revoozie, and also wrote YouClipped's frontend and pre-release backend.
